Unraveling the Race: Embracing Our True Heritage
We start life as a single cell—a sperm racing to an egg 🧬. But how often do we stay stuck in that "race" mindset 🏁? The push to survive, compete, prove … when true power lies in connection.
Like the black sheep 🐑 who turns away from the cliff , we can choose differently. Ever notice how sheep follow the herd off a cliff just because everyone else is doing it? 🤔 They're not mad about the cliff—they're mad the black sheep didn't follow their lead. It wasn't their idea first 💡.
The Lesson:
- Competition (🏁 "me first") keeps us stuck 🔒.
- Connection (we together) sets us free 🔓.
- True power? Choosing your path, not the crowd's!
The Roots of Christmas: Paganism Under New Management
Did you know the 12 Days of Yule (Dec 21-Jan 1) were sacred to ancient cultures? Long before commercialized Christmas , our ancestors celebrated the return of light, honoring the Mother and cycles of nature . Many Christmas traditions (trees, lights , feasts ) were inherited from women who came before —then "rebranded" 💰.
Even the term "Xmas" represents the X chromosome 🧬, symbolizing the feminine —often edited out or altered. Like our ancestries, ideas, and identities , the origins of Christmas were stolen, shifted, or silenced 🔇.
As a mother, establishing what holidays and traditions we celebrated and how became center stage. As my son's first Christmas arrived, nothing felt right about celebrating it in the same, societally imaged way—with some forced, awkward family interactions, while others were a large remembrance and replay of the family dynamics from upbringings, always at play. Saving face, superficial conversations, not really knowing one another, or everyone having to fall back into their roles or characters: golden child, scapegoat, avoidant father, insecure mother, etc., surrounded around clashing mentalities, competition, and comparison, and a keeping up with outdated societal expectations and norms.
When we started to make the decision, as a family, to change how we celebrated—specifically Christmas—it created a massive explosion within our extended families on both sides. The more decisions we made to align with our core values and morals, the more we started to trigger those close to us. Becoming curious about what we were celebrating, why, how we were celebrating, why we are what we are, and did the rituals we did—and honoring their true history, herstory, and theirstory—this action, in itself, being curious, wondering why, creates waves in our nature, and those we are connected to will feel this internal push and pull from the version starting to cycle break. This external will be met, and can manifest through those in our life, by similar interest, rejection, suppression, and a complete shift on the relationship completely—not to be taken as a bad thing or good; it just is, what it is. It’s the underlying energies being allowed to surface, the information to be aired out—it lets us know where all of our cells are truly at.
When one does things differently, it’s like the black sheep in a herd of white walking the other direction… the white sheep aren’t mad they walked off the cliff—they’re mad it wasn’t their idea to turn around. The underlying issue is that everyone wants it to be their idea, their identity, their ideal; every 1 (binary coding) wants to be the special 1. So many are stuck in the initial stages of creation.
And as a result of this, the survival brain stays in charge, and one-dimensional cell-centered living continues—cell versing cell—even its own cell. There's no balance, no dual nature, no evolving out of the "race" to the egg. That once you arrive, you realize only the one with the right X, Y, and body—aka ingredients—the 1 that's aligned will be the 1 to come through. Taking us deeper into our genetics and understanding energy, and like attracts like—law. Why do certain 1's trigger me? Why do I fall in love with? Why do I reject? Why do I resonate? The cell is exploring its relationship to other cells, and being curious about the underlying connections at play—and why. Key factor: their Y chromosome ⚡️ is attracted to the other's X chromosome 🧲—what similar charge 🔋 are those cells carrying, and what is the information, the cord, the energy behind it?
As we step into the threshold of 2025 (Year of the Snake, 9 in numerology) to 2026 (Year of the Horse, 1 in numerology) , the 12 Days of Yule invite us to reconnect . In ancient times, this liminal space—neither old year nor new—was for connecting to self, family, craft, feast, rest, gift-giving, ritual, conservation, decoration, and pleasure 🌿. A time to:
- Connect to your roots
- Honor your cycles
- Embrace the feminine
- Break free from "race" patterns
- Align with your true path
You’re the black sheep .What’s your path?
